Leathery, rose, rich and deep. A big, weighty mouthful with lots of flavour of dark, almost baked, fruits and balancing alcohol and acidity. Long, mellow finish with hints of chocolate. The wine has great concentration of colour and flavour, with a balance of fruit and tannin that ensures further maturation in bottle of 10-15 years. to be fully enjoyed, it should be served at 16-18°C in large glasses, to accompany all red meats and strongly flavoured meats and dishes. Domaine Duclaux is particularly appreciated by those amateurs of Châteauneuf-du-Pape, with the wine regularly distinguish itself at professional tastings. Rich bouquet of exotics fruits, long vanilla notes. Full-bodied, dense and concentrating with note of orange, marmalade and white flower. Very limited production (about 1 600 bottles a year).
