This is a blend of 60% Grenache, 15% Syrah, 15% Mourvèdre and 10% old
Carignan planted on two types of soils : the first sandstone on flat terrain and
the second, clay and limestone soil on a hillside.
The yield was of 35 hL per hectare in the 1999 vintage. The wine was vinified traditionally with the whole berries, at controlled
temperature between 30 and 32 °C. The maceration last for 20 days with a daily pumping
over. The wine has an attractive ruby red color, with concentrated fruit flavors of cherry and raspberry. Smooth and well balanced. This wine will be packaged either in 6 or 12 bottle cases.
