The vines are located in several parceles at the foothills of the well-known
Dentelles de Montmirail, just south of Gigondas. They are planted with 70%
Grenache, 20% Syrah and 10% Mourvèdre. The Average age of wines is 40 years
with a yield of around 35 hL/ha. The grapes are all picked by hand with 100% destemmed before crushing. The
fermentation is at a controlled temperature of 30°C maximum. Mecreation lasts
about 3 weeks, then after racking, "free run" wines are blended. Intense purple color with aromas of red fruits and light floral notes. Full
bodied in mouth with ripe fruit flavors, a hint of liquorices and elegant spicy
notes. To be served at around 16°C.
